Chemistry
Chemistry is central to all the sciences. All living and non-living matter has a chemical structure. Chemistry is the study of the composition, structure, and properties of matter and the changes it undergoes. As a physical science teacher I will be able to help my students answer questions such as: What is that material made of? What is its makeup and internal arrangement? How does it behave and change when heated, cooled or mixed with other materials and why does this behavior occur?
Chemistry is part of science as an effort to achieve a systematic understanding of the physical universe through disciplined inquiry.
In my chemistry curriculum I will include the following standards:
